After being diagnosed with endometriosis, I stepped into a reality that 1 in 10 women already know all too well — living with chronic pain, delayed diagnosis, unanswered questions, and a condition that is still widely misunderstood.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women worldwide.
Yet it takes an average of years to diagnose.
And too many women are told their pain is “normal.”
It’s not.
Why It Matters
Endometriosis is more than painful periods. It’s a chronic inflammatory disease that can impact fertility, daily life, mental health, and long-term wellness. And despite how common it is, awareness and research funding still lag behind.
